Layers in Cadview: Function and translation

Post by Peter » 11 Sep 2007, 16:19

Hello

I saw that you improved the Layermanagenet in CadView:

Layer new, Layer delete:
- What it is good for in a viewer? I can not edit something, and this is why I don't need new or deleted layers ..??
- The menu can not be translated: nor in the toolbar, nor in the contextmenu

Unfreeze all:
It can be translated in the toolbar, but there is no chnaging in Contextmenu.

Search for layer=Layer suchen
New Layer (Alt+N)=Neuer Layer
Delete Layer (Alt+D)=Layer lцschen
Default=Vorgabe
Unfreeze All=Alle tauen
Switch All=Alle einschalten

The "default sorting order" of the layerlist should be "By name". Now there is no sorting at all.

We will delete these buttons as unnecessary.

These lines can't be translated though the LNG file currently. It is necessary to redevelop the code of the plugin. This question will be solved in the future.

It is necessary to view some file with several layers. You will see the difference.

A viewed file must contain several layers. Click several times on the name of any column on the Layers dialog. Layers will be sorted by respective parameter.

Yes, I know. But I think that it would be better to

- start always sorted by name (used in 95%) and the user can change the sorting for its own (5% of usage)

or

- add an option in option dialogue for "preferred layer sorting".
