Zooming of solar.dwg (AutoCAD 2.6)

I just downloaded the famous solar.dwg, packed to AutoCAD 2.6

http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_l ... thing.html

The viewer just displays an area 10 times as large as the moon - no way to read the template on the lunar lander. :)

Hello Peter,

Just switch to Views layout and you will see a plaque placed on the lunar lander in a separate view. At least, this way works for the DWG file from this blog.

Another way to read the plaque is to turn off all the layers except PLAQUE, then fit the drawing to window using a corresponding button on CADView toolbox.

This file is just like the well known "Budweiser" for fun and for testing and of course not for daily use, but maybe you can take a look at your zoom-functions to improve the supported scale.

Peter,

We will take this into account, especially since ABViewer doesn't have a limit for zooming in. In this regard, ABViewer works even better than DWG TrueView which doesn't allow to zoom in closely to the plaque - I couldn't read names of the astronauts in DWG TrueView.
